Who are we?
tickit® is owned by Commotion Ltd, the international wholesale distributor of educational toy brands. First developed in the late 1990s by Commotion’s in-house product team, and working alongside professional educational advisors, the objective for the tickit® brand was to create a special range of high-quality learning resources for teachers to use with children of varying ages.
Which we have been doing ever since!
However, our history goes back much further than the 1990’s and 2023 will see us celebrate our 40th anniversary! During that time, Commotion Ltd has grown to become one of the most trusted toy brands in the education market and a well-respected and successful distributor to school suppliers, nurseries, and kindergartens worldwide.

We never stop
With the insatiable demand for quality, meaningful, and open-ended learning resources, in 2020 we launched our tickit® online store in the UK and have expanded our reach since then to include our EU online store.
So now, parents, caregivers, childminders, in fact anyone, can now enjoy all the benefits of our tickit® range.
Did you know we design our own products in-house?
From concept to production, everyone at Commotion can get involved and contribute to new product development.
We are constantly told the beauty of our products is in the innovative design and quality.
We are passionate about creating products that spark curiosity and fire the imagination.
What about you?
We love our resellers. We call them our “extended family” and we mean this! Many of our resellers have been in business with us for over 30 years. We are proud of that. Our business success is based on the strength and relationships we build with our resellers.
We are not exclusive, but we make no apology for being a little choosy!

- Accounts are set up in Euros € and our delivery terms are Ex -Works.
Based in the UK?
- No problem again! We despatch from the UK too! Accounts are set up in GBP £.
What else?
We provide a dedicated Account Management team who will work alongside you to help drive sales and routes to market.
We have a state-of-the-art showroom to provide one-to-one virtual meetings, training, and product demonstrations.
With years of experience, we are well placed to offer advice and recommendations on product selection.
